Coordinate Contractor-provided protective operations. Assist the DS/RSO Watch Officer in the RSO Tactical Operations Center (TOC). Assist in the coordination and supervision of all protective operations, including managing daily operations of the protection cell within the RSO TOC, evaluating threatening situations and calling for deployment of additional resources, operating communications equipment, communicating with entities outside the protection cell using various communication technologies, preparing daily and weekly reports, maintaining watch records, ensuring PSDs submit required mission paperwork, monitoring PSDs, assisting with mission planning for PSDs, maintaining a database of all protective missions, and briefing senior U.S. Embassy personnel during emergency situations. Qualifications include passing the pre-employment Physical Readiness Test, U.S. citizenship, minimum years of experience in protective services and supervisory roles, completion of supervisory and PSS training courses, qualification with specified weapons, obtaining and maintaining Personnel Security Clearance, maintaining physical fitness standards, and ability to travel overseas to dangerous or unhealthy countries. May be required to temporarily fill alternate positions based on program needs and Project Management discretion.
