Raytheon is seeking a Technical Publications/Methods Manager to join our Product Engineering team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with process and product engineers, quality engineers, and operations personnel to meticulously review, revise, release, and manage all process documentation related to our equipment and assembly processes. This position is integral to the development and maintenance of documentation for both current and next-generation microwave and millimeter wave products in a dynamic microelectronics manufacturing environment. What You Will Do

  • Review Technical Data: Ensure accuracy and compliance of technical data packages.

  • Develop Routers: Create detailed and efficient manufacturing process steps.

  • Manage Documentation Input: Maintain up-to-date records in engineering control systems.

  • Oversee Review Process: Coordinate timely feedback and approvals from stakeholders.

  • Approval Cycle Management: Ensure compliance and obtain necessary approvals before release.

  • Publish Documentation: Make approved documentation accessible on the internal intranet.

  • Control Point: Oversee the lifecycle of all department documentation.

  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with various engineering and operations teams.

  • Improve Processes: Identify and implement documentation process improvements.

  • Ensure Compliance: Adhere to industry standards and company policies.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelors and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience.

  • 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office applications in a professional setting

Qualifications We Prefer

  • SAP PRISM: Proficiency in using SAP PRISM for enterprise resource planning and data management.

  • Windchill: Experience with Windchill for product lifecycle management and document control.

  • HTML Editing: Basic knowledge of HTML for editing and managing web-based documentation.

  • Technical Drawing Interpretation: Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.

  • Configuration Management: Solid understanding of configuration management principles and practices.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Proficiency in using engineering control systems.

  • Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

  • A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.

  • Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidates work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
