The Role:

You'll play a key role in ensuring safe and efficient surgeries while advocating for our patients. Role & Responsibilities:
Patient Care and Comfort:
Address patient needs upon admission, ensuring comfort, privacy, and emotional support.
Provide clear explanations of procedures to reduce patient anxiety, utilizing calming techniques and answering patient questions.
Team Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate closely with the surgical team, anesthesia staff, and perioperative personnel to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.
Serve as a liaison between the surgical team and other departments to maintain smooth patient flow.
Circulating Nurse Duties:
Prepare the operating room in advance, ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are available.
Anticipate the surgical team's needs during the procedure, including assisting the anesthesia team during drug administration.
Monitor patient status and environment throughout surgery to ensure everything is running smoothly.
Documentation and Compliance:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient care records, ensuring all documentation is completed in a timely manner in compliance with facility policies.
Ensure that all necessary post-surgical documentation is finalized, including patient care notes and surgical details.

Position Requirements:
Completion of BSN or ADN program
Registered Nursing License
At least 2 years' of Operating Room experience preferred
