We are looking for a new Maintenance Team Lead to join our growing Team and Fulfillment Center network. This individual will report into our Assistant General Manager. If you are looking for a career that will allow you to motivate team members and support management, this is the job for you!

Role Type: Full-Time, Exempt
\n
Location: 180,000 sq ft. in Farmers Branch, TX
\n
Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm CST
\n
Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year
\n
Responsibilities:
\n
\n - Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
\n - Carry out inspections of the facility to identify and resolve issues
\n - Identify, plan and implement all necessary PM’s to prevent mechanical issues
\n - Plan and oversee all repairs and installation activities
\n - Monitor equipment inventory and placing orders when necessary
\n - Monitor expenses and control the budget for the maintenance team
\n - Apply maintenance skillset to complete various tasks in-house to reduce costs and meet budget goals
\n - Manage relationships and negotiate contracts with contractors and service providers
\n - Review, validate, and approve maintenance invoices for Accounts Payable
\n - Ensure health and safety policies are complied with
\n - Immediately address all personnel and performance related incidents that arise
\n - Attend and participate in the HR Leadership meetings twice a month
\n - Execute all process improvements developed and in partnership with the Assistant General Manager to support the growth
\n - Execute all projects assigned by the Assistant General Manager
\n - Help build out the maintenance and janitorial teams including conducting training and frequent check-in's
\n - All members of leadership are expected to lead by example and maintain professional standards in the workplace.

Requirements:
\n
\n - Fundamental understanding of maintenance operations
\n - Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (especially Word, Outlook, and Excel)
\n - Proficiency with budgeting and negotiation of contracts
\n - Strong problem solving, time management, and communication skills; strong attention to detail
\n - Ability to work independently, multitask and follow process and standard procedures
\n - Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
\n - Ability to perform physical activity that include but not limited to walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, and handling various items
\n - Ability to lift and carry items 10-50Ibs. All members are expected to seek help if an item is over 50lbs or if the weight limit that can be lifted is reached
\n - Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary
\n - Ability to push and pull objects up to 60 pounds of force independently (employees are expected to seek help or use appropriate equipment to ensure safety for any task involving pushing or pulling that exceeds 60 pounds)
