JOB TITLE: Truck Dispatcher
PAY RATE: $23.00/hour
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
REQUIREMENT: Must have MHS (Material Handling System) experience
The Truck Dispatcher will support the Management team by ensuring the efficient and accurate dispatching of transportation operations while maintaining inventory integrity. This position involves coordinating shipments, resolving scheduling issues, performing audits, and collaborating closely with warehouse and operations teams. The Dispatcher will also be responsible for implementing best practices in routing, reporting key logistics metrics, and supporting continuous improvement efforts through process consistency and problem-solving.
ESSENTIAL DUTIESCoordinate daily truck dispatch schedules and communicate with drivers and warehouse teams.
Act as a central point of contact for inventory location and truck load status inquiries.
Ensure effective communication with CSQ and Operations regarding delivery timelines and inventory updates.
Troubleshoot dispatch and logistics issues and resolve them in real time.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of shipments, delays, and discrepancies.
Implement and maintain routing and scheduling best practices.
Monitor and report on shipping performance, delays, and discrepancies.
Enforce safety and compliance policies, adhering to company standards and OSHA regulations.
Participate in and direct inventory clean-up initiatives during peak dispatch periods.
Operate material handling equipment such as stand-up lifts and reach forklifts when necessary.
Utilize logistics and inventory software systems for data entry, report generation, and analysis.
Analyze dispatch data to identify patterns and opportunities for operational improvements.
Present logistics and performance data in clear, actionable formats.

Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and operate handheld scanners and computers throughout an 8+ hour shift.
