As part of our commitment to safety and operational excellence, we are seeking a talented and experienced Corporate Process Safety Management (PSM) Manager to join our team.

The Corporate Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organization's safety programs and policies. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards, promotes a culture of safety within the organization, and minimizes workplace risks to enhance employee well-being and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

· Safety Program Development: Develop, implement, and oversee safety policies and procedures to comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Establish and maintain a corporate safety management system that aligns with industry best practices.

· Risk Assessment and Management. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and assess risk levels. Analyze incidents and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

· Training and Education: Design and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels to ensure awareness and compliance with safety practices. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as necessary.

· Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into workplace incidents and accidents, documenting findings and recommending strategies to prevent recurrence. Prepare incident reports for management review and regulatory reporting as required.

· Compliance and Reporting: Stay current with OSHA regulations and industry standards, ensuring the organization remains compliant. Prepare and submit necessary reports to regulatory agencies and maintain documentation for audits.

· Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with HR, Operations, and other departments to foster a culture of safety and ensure safety standards are integrated into business operations. Communicate safety initiatives and performance to senior management and staff regularly.

· Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure readiness. Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related emergencies.

· Provide leadership and guidance to site Managers and teams to ensure consistent application of process safety principles and practices.

· Monitor and report on process safety performance metrics, trends, and improvement initiatives to senior management.

· Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments related to safety and food manufacturing.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in process safety management, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.

· In-depth knowledge of process safety regulations, standards, and best practices; Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards

· Proven experience leading process safety initiatives and driving cultural change within organizations.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex process safety issues and develop effective solutions.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

· Professional certifications such as Certified Process Safety Professional (CCPSC), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or Certified Food Safety Manager (CFM) are desirable.
