Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Effectively schedule and route tractor trailers to meet delivery times and profitability. Responsible for scheduling and dispatching of all Tractor Trailer drivers within multiple locations. Answer all incoming transportation calls. Schedule and facilitate monthly driver meetings to relay information to drivers, gain feedback, and communicate company performance. Responsible for customer contact in regards to trucking schedule (pick-up, delivery, late arrivals, etc.) Responsible for managing driver times, attendance, and paperwork on a daily basis. Responsible for completion of yearly performance reviews for drivers Coordinate effective use of outside haulers. Maintaining accurate totals of Inside & Outside hauls on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis Responsible for accurate feedback regarding errors in efficiency weekly with service and the counter

RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 5-7 years' experience in service-related industry. Organizational Development skills Leadership skills.
