14031 - Application Tester - Billing Systems (onsite) – Houston, TX
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.

Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Houston, TX (required);
• Experience in software testing, preferably with billing or financial systems (2+ years);
• Experience with billing and invoicing processes;
• Experience with test case management, defect tracking tools;
• Experience with SQL for querying and validating data.

Responsibilities:
• Analyzing test results to identify root causes of issues and collaborating with developers for resolution;
• Performing regression testing during system upgrades or patches;
• Understanding business requirements from business analysts and end users and validating outcomes;
• Test data preparation, environment setup, and contributing to continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation;
• Review functional specifications and requirements to develop test scenarios and test cases for billing applications;
• Execute manual and automated tests for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes;
• Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
